SHIJIA Group is operated by VAN TUAN GROUP LTD (company number 17058851), registered in England and Wales. Registered office: Suite Ra01, 195–197 Wood Street, London, United Kingdom, E17 3NU. Contact help@shijia.co.uk.
We use your name, email and authentication details to secure your account; service choices, dates, party details and chosen addresses to handle arrangements; and messages, attachments and feedback to support you. A guest has a random browser credential. Never send passwords, full payment-card details or unnecessary identity documents in chat. Verified residency is separate from nationality and language.
We process information to take requested steps before a contract, perform agreed services, meet legal obligations and pursue legitimate interests such as security and preventing misuse. Optional permissions and features use consent where required. Consent may be withdrawn without affecting earlier lawful processing.
Location, microphone and browser notifications are optional. A typed or searched pickup replaces a GPS result. Recordings stay local until you choose Send. Cloud translation is off by default: only a message you choose is sent to the server-side provider, and the original stays unchanged. Calendar links are private bearer links: anyone holding a link can read its included events. Revoke a link to stop future updates.
Authorised support staff can access records needed to handle your request. We use service providers for hosting, databases, account mail, payments and optional AI or maps. A service may involve processing outside your country; applicable safeguards and contractual measures apply. Stripe handles hosted card checkout. AI assistance does not confirm a booking, payment or supplier reservation.
Deleting an account removes the live login, profile, residency status and conversations and clears the active session. Attachments follow the service’s retention and deletion rules. Anonymous vehicle/date records may remain to avoid conflicting bookings. Records needed for legal obligations, accounting, disputes or fraud prevention may be retained as necessary. Deletion does not cancel a confirmed booking. Downloaded copies held by recipients or calendar services may remain.
Contact help@shijia.co.uk to request access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability or to object, where applicable. We may verify your identity first. You can complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office or your relevant local authority. Nothing here removes mandatory rights.
The public site uses no advertising or analytics trackers. Optional card-light preferences require your choice; Essential only is the default. The privacy choice is remembered for 180 days. The browser app uses essential secure HttpOnly session cookies. Language, appearance, favourites, addresses, selections and unsent drafts are stored per browser identity. These local preferences do not create reservations. Private conversations and authenticated API responses are not stored in the service-worker cache.
